A hydraulic lubricating oil, also called hydraulic fluid, is a specially formulated oil-based fluid designed to transmit power within a hydraulic system while simultaneously lubricating and protecting the system's components from wear and corrosion, with its key property being its viscosity, which determines its resistance to flow and is crucial for efficient operation of the hydraulic machinery.
